Kristin Klingshirn, known for her long-running role as Co-Host on The Bert Show, is returning to the airwaves in Atlanta. She’s launching her own afternoon drive show, The Kristin Show, which will air weekdays from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Q99.7, starting Monday, January 26th.

Klingshirn, who was part of The Bert Show for over a decade, made the announcement herself on-air and through Q99.7’s social media platforms.
Her departure from The Bert Show came in October 2025 after Bert Weiss retired. The show had a legacy of being broadcast in over 20 markets across the U.S. for 25 years.
Throughout her career, Klingshirn’s work has earned recognition, including a Gracie Award in 2025 for her contributions to radio and for championing women’s and mothers’ issues.
Prior to her success on The Bert Show, she worked in radio stations in Lexington, KY, Cincinnati, OH, and Raleigh, NC, before making her mark in Atlanta.
Justin Schaflander, Vice President and Market Manager for Cumulus Atlanta, shared his excitement about Klingshirn’s return to Q99.7, stating that her presence would mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the station.
He praised Klingshirn’s commitment to both the city of Atlanta and using her platform to make a positive impact.
Klingshirn herself expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “When The Bert Show concluded, I was far from done with Atlanta radio.
And turns out, Atlanta radio was far from done with me.” She added, “Our mission is to bring lots of laughter to your afternoons while using our platform to help our communities.” She also confirmed that her co-host will be revealed soon.
The Kristin Show will continue the legacy of supporting local causes, including Bert’s Big Adventure, a charity dedicated to providing magical experiences for children with chronic and terminal illnesses.
