Sebastian Mikael and Teyana Taylor Debut New Music Video “Made For Me” As A Part Of Pepsi Pulse Artist Spotlight ProgramAcclaimed singer-songwriter and musician Sebastian Mikael returns today with a new music video for his latest single “Made For Me,” a stirring duet with Teyana Taylor. After the release of his debut album Speechless earlier this year, “Made For Me” follows the success of Sebastian Mikael’s “Last Night” featuring Wale which amassed over 2.5 million views on YouTube. WATCH “Made For Me” -“Made For Me” was shot in Palmdale, CA and captures the song’s theme of being in love when it feels like the whole world is against you.
In the video the two devoted lovers navigate the desert as a mysterious figure pursues, and when everything else seems to be falling apart their resilient love holds them together. The video was produced by Complex Media in partnership with Pepsi as a part of the Pepsi Pulse Artist Spotlight accelerator program. The program features a new artist every month and is a collaborative effort between brand, publisher and musician to increase the visibility of emerging artists such as Sebastian Mikael, Nico & Vinz and Mayaeni.
Born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, Sebastian Mikael is the son of an Ethiopian mother and Swedish father. In high school music and art became his escape and grew into a passion that eventually led him to the esteemed Berklee College of Music, where he pursued Audio Engineering and began to record material as a solo artist. After signing with Slip-n-Slide Records alongside artists like Rick Ross and Jagged Edge, Mikael released his debut album Speechless with features from Rick Ross, Teyana Taylor and Wale.
