There have been billions of dollars spent to help the severe problem of homelessness in Los Angeles. There is an estimate of over 60,000 people homeless in the city and the state and county are blamed because they seem to not care. The tourism community and business owners are deeply affected by the problem of homeless people defecating in public and setting up tents everywhere. There is no city or area in the city that is not affected by the problem. Skid row which is downtown is literally 50 shocking blocks of tents and homeless people.
