Will A Tribe Called Quest Reunite in the Studio?

With one quote to Rolling Stone while attending the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding’s Young Leadership Benefit in New York, Q-Tip set the twitterverse on fire when he said, “I’ll probably get them on my album,” The them he is referring to is Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi. The foursome makes up one of hip-hop music’s legendary groups, A Tribe Called Quest. Although the group tours every now and then, they haven’t recorded any music together since the 90’s.

Fans have been waiting on a Tribe album, well, since the 90’s. Q-Tip has been in New York recording his latest album, entitled “The Last Zulu,” which is slated for release next spring on G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam.
