Groundbreaking singer-songwriter VINCINT has shared “Romance,” his most soul-baring single thus far. Co-written by VINCINT and multi-Platinum, GRAMMY Award-nominated singer-songwriter MNEK (H.E.R., Zara Larsson, Beyonc) and produced by MNEK and Storyboards, the emotionally charged track is available today at all DSPs and streaming services HERE.

VINCINT returns with new single "Romance"

‘Romance’ is about seeing someone you care for being treated like shit and knowing you can love them better,” says VINCINT, “a little ode to the divas of the early 2000s, like Toni Braxton’s ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ and Brandy and Monica’s ‘The Boy Is Mine.’ Plain and simple, it’s me talking my shit.

“Romance” marks a new era for VINCINT, following last year’s stirring series of singles that includes “Taste So Good (The Cann Song),” presented by queer-owned brand Cann in partnership with Weedmaps and performed by VINCINT alongside Hayley Kiyoko, MNEK, and Special Guest Kesha.

Released for Pride Month 2022, the intoxicating anthem is joined by an instantly iconic music video celebrating queer love, inclusivity, and cannabis with a star-studded cast that includes VINCINT, Kiyoko, Gus Kenworthy, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Patricia Arquette, and such top drag performers from Season 14 ofRuPaul’s Drag Raceas Kornbread, Kerri Colby, Jorgeous, and Season 14 winner, Willow Pill. “Taste So Good (The Cann Song)” is streaming now exclusively at the official Weedmaps YouTube channelHERE.

VINCINT further celebrated Pride Month with “Believer (For Showtime Pride),” released exclusively for SHOWTIME and the Human Rights Committee’s Queer to Stay initiative, and “Mission,” released exclusively for Love, Victor: Season 3 on Hulu and Disney+. As if that weren’t enough, VINCINT teamed with rising artist and longtime friend Kelechi for “Just Another Song (Feat. VINCINT),” joined by an official music video co-starring both artists and streamingHERE.

2021 saw VINCINT ascend to the forefront of modern queer pop with his internationally acclaimed debut album, There Will Be Tears, available now at all DSPs and streaming services HERE. Now boasting over 10M worldwide streams and counting, the album exploded onto the top 10 of iTunes’ “US Pop Albums” chart within 48 hours of its release earlier this year, fueled by more than 2M overall streams on its advance tracks.

VINCINT marked There Will Be Tears with a series of spectacular TV appearances, including a special Pride performance of the album’s “Higher” from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on TBS’ Full Frontal with Samantha Bee (streaming HERE) and a breathtaking live version of “Getaway” alongside Tegan & Sara on NBC’s TODAY.

VINCINT’s dynamic songcraft and radiant charisma has seen him lighting up stages around the globe, including his own sold-out headline run, “The Getaway Tour,” headlining performances at Pride events nationwide, multiple sold-out shows in New York City and Los Angeles, an appearance at the 2020 Academy Awards (as member of Cynthia Erivo’s gospel choir), and memorable sets at the United States Conference on AIDS, SXSW, 2018’s LOVELOUD Festival, the 2019 GAY TIMES Honours 500 in London, NETFLIX Pride 2020, and NYC’s Governors Ball Music Festival 2021, and Coachella 2022 to name but a few.
