Hailing from Charlotte, NC, Akevius gets a hot assist from North Carolina native, DaBaby, to bring, “1+1,” a feel-good love song.

Akevius attributes their hometown as the starting point for what is called an “easy top 10 record,” by DaBaby.

The two met in 2015 when DaBaby began working on his project, God’s Work. With both hailing from North Carolina, they share the same prideful sentiment in representing their home base.

“DaBaby was always supportive of my music and we mutually wanted to work on a song together, that’s how 1+1 came about,” states Akevius.

Coupled with relatable lyrics that will force you to sing along over an infectious beat that you can’t help but baby bop too, the duo is giving nothing short of greatness.

With over 650,000 streams on his first single “Dumb Love” featuring Plies, with “1+1,” Akevius is sure to raise the bar he previously set for himself.
