The 7th Annual Toast is a Pre-BET Event and celebrates Black Music Month, hosted by Memphis Will- BET Comic View. The Toast will take place from 7p.m. to 11p.m. at House of Music & Entertainment located at 430 N. Camden Dr., Beverly Hills, CA., with live performances by Kevin McCall-(CBE/RCA records Artist & Grammy nominated writer), Antonique Smith (Recording Artist/Actress), Drey Skonie ( Recording Artist), Dee Dee Simmons(R&B Singer), Ashly Willliams (X-Factor), Marie Antonoinette (Recording Artist), and Vincent Berry (Recording Artist).
Confirmed guest attending are Mario (Recording Artist/Actor), Max Gousse( Record Executive), LaToya Jackson (TV Personality), Porsha Williams (Real Housewives of Atlanta), Twista ( Hip Hop Artist), Nelly ( Hip Hop Artist), Kelvin Brown (Greys Anatomy/The soul Man), and Obba Babatunde (Actor), and Slim (Lead singer from 112).
This years honorees include Taj Stansberry-director and photographer of some of the biggest names in the Urban industry such as Rihanna and Ne-Yo; Michael “Blue” Williams- Music Manager and President of Primary Wave Management; Malik Yusef-5 Time Grammy Award Winner and 6 Time ASCAP Winner; Jeanine McClean- MBK Entertainment Vice President and Managing Partner, Eesean “E” Bolden- A&R Capitol Records; & Felicia “The Poetess” Morris- #1 in the Radio Facts Top 20 On-Air DJ Contest and owner of Radiofreqz.com.

The mission of the Toast to Urban Music Executives Awards event is to toast influential Urban Music and Entertainment Executives from the worlds of music, multi-media, film and television for their outstanding commitment, contributions, and sacrifices made to preserve the heritage and value of the urban entertainment landscape. Along with honoring Urban Music Executives, the Toast provides a networking platform in the spirit of recognition, support, mentorship, and relationship building.
