On the heels of their album release, Common and Pete Rock have announced The Auditorium Tour, sponsored by T-Mobile.
The 18-stop tour will begin on August 28 in Del Mar, California, and end with a three-night residency at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City from September 23-25.
A few of the tour dates are as follows:
Tickets go on sale Friday, July 19 at 10 AM local time. There will be an artist presale starting Wednesday, July 17 at 12 PM local time, and a Spotify presale from Thursday, July 18 at 10 AM local to 10 PM local.
Last week, Common and Pete Rock released their first full-length collaboration, The Auditorium, Vol. 1, via Loma Vista Recordings. The album features Common, an Academy Award, Emmy, and Grammy-winning artist, and Pete Rock, a Grammy-winning producer and DJ known for his influence in merging jazz with hip hop.
Common, also an actor, author, and activist, recently released his health and wellness book AND THEN WE RISE. He starred in Apple TV+’s Silo and made his Broadway debut in BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY. His latest album, A BEAUTIFUL REVOLUTION Part 2, was released in September 2021. He remains deeply involved in social justice and advocacy work.
Pete Rock gained prominence as one half of the group Pete Rock & CL Smooth and has continued a successful solo career. He has collaborated with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z, Nas, The Roots, and Kanye West.
