Samantha Selolwane Promoted at RCA Music Group

Samantha Selolwane has been promoted to VP of promotion at RCA Records. Formerly senior national director of Black promotion for the label, Selolwane will continue to be based in New York and report directly to Geo Bivins, senior VP of Black promotion at RCA and recently appointed GM of the company’s Verity Gospel Music Group. During her seven-years, Selolwane worked on projects by Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Usher, Miguel, Anthony Hamilton, Charlie Wilson and T-Pain, among others.

Selolwane formerly worked at local Black Radio Station WERQ (92Q) as assistant music director/air personality. From there she segued to independent promotion company Active Industry Research (AIR) before joining Jive Records (later folded into RCA Records) in 2005.
