The survey, which takes less than 2 minutes to complete, digs into the real-world listening behaviors of everyday drivers and passengers, from how often they’re in the car each week to which platforms they actually reach for when they hit the road.

Respondents are asked about their go-to audio source, whether that’s AM/FM radio, SiriusXM, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, or their own downloaded music, and how they typically split their listening time across those platforms. The survey also explores which local radio formats people tune into, from hip hop and R&B stations to news, talk, sports, and gospel.
Music genre preference is a key part of the survey, covering everything from hip hop and R&B to pop, rock, country, Latin, gospel, EDM, and jazz. The data will help Radio Facts paint a clearer picture of how different fan communities engage with audio on the go.
The survey is open to listeners of all backgrounds and includes optional questions about ethnicity, profession, and favorite radio shows or podcasts to help provide richer context to the findings.
