RIP Malik “Phife Dawg” Taylor, ATCQ Co-Founder

Vet hip hop music group Tribe Called Quest member and co-founder Malik Taylor aka Phife Dawg has died. The 45-year-old rapper had been suffering from various health ailments over recent years including Type 1 Diabetes and kidney transplant surgery. Taylor co founded the group in 1985 with Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammed. The group last performed on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon this past November. We’ll keep you posted on services.
