Tempie Strickland, an 80-year-old woman was arrested in Fort Worth, TX on Sunday, November 10th after she allegedly tried to kill her ex-husband/roommate during a fight about him staying out too late. Rickey Smiley became aware of the story after the story was sent to him via social media. At first, Rickey saw the hilarity in the story, but then it made him think of his beloved and deceased grandmother and great grandmother. “It moved me in a certain way,” Smiley explained. “I started digging…I wanted her released.” So Ricky paid her bail.
