Program Director Dies while Swimming


John Andrew “Andyman” Davis, the program director for WWCD-FM, died Sunday evening while swimming in Long Lake, in the Manistee National Forest in northern Michigan. He was 42. During a vacation at Outland ‘s Long Lake Resort, Davis had been taking daily swims around the lake perimeter, said Mason County Undersheriff Tom Trenner. He had been visiting the resort with his wife, Molly, their three children and other family members.,An hour after he left for his swim Sunday, concerned relatives drove a boat around the lake to look for him. They found him on the opposite end, face-down in the water.

His brother-in-law, a Columbus paramedic, administered CPR for 20 minutes, but Davis was unresponsive. (read the whole story here)
