Poll Shows Americans Want Obamacare

121204_barack_obama_ap_605Since Obamacare was signed into law four years ago, Republicans and their allies haven’t let a day go by without attacking the law; spending hundreds of millions of dollars just to undermine it and discourage consumers from participating. Meanwhile, Republicans in the House have voted over 50 times to repeal, gut or dismantle the law and there’s no sign that they’ll let up any time soon.

While Republicans are gearing up to run against Obamacare (again), Democrats are committed to protecting the law that is working for millions of Americans and making sure it works even better.

A new poll out today from the Kaiser Family Foundation finds that the American people side with Democrats.

The poll finds that nearly 60% of Americans want to keep the law as is or improve it while only 29% agree with the Republican position of repealing the legislation or repealing and replacing with a GOP alternative.
