Nick Cannon’s “WhiteFace” Pic Isn’t Racist

Nick Cannon recently released a photo of himself in full whiteface make up to promote his new album, “White People Party Music,”and it caused a bit of storm on the internet.

Nick  shared photos and videos on his Instagram account of himself in whiteface makeup with blond hair and sort of a skater kid wardrobe.  He  posted the following message as a caption to one of the photos. “It’s official… I’m White!!! #WHITEPEOPLEPARTYMUSIC #Wppm in stores April 1st!!!!!!Dude Go Get It!!!Join The Party!!!! #GoodCredit #DogKissing #BeerPong #FarmersMarkets #FistPumping #CreamCheeseEating #RacialDraft “Bro I got drafted!!”

Well this didn’t’ sit well with some people and they called his actions racist. Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 addressed the issue in his “The Realness” segment of the his show. Check out the video.
