PETER GUBER TO KEYNOTE NAB SHOW OPENING

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Peter Guber, founder, chairman and CEO of Mandalay Entertainment Group, will deliver opening remarks at the 2015 NAB Show in Las Vegas. NAB Show is the world’s leading convention for professionals who create, manage and distribute entertainment across all media platforms. The keynote session will take place Monday, April 13, following NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith’s “State of the Broadcast Industry” address. The opening event is sponsored by Blackmagic Design.

Prior to Mandalay, Guber was chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Entertainment, chairman and CEO of Polygram Entertainment, co-founder of Casablanca Record & Filmworks and president of Columbia Pictures. Guber produced or executive produced (personally or through his companies) films that garnered five Best Picture Academy Award nominations (winning for “Rain Man”) and box office hits that include “The Color Purple,” “Midnight Express,” “Batman,” “Flashdance,” “The Kids Are All Right” and “Soul Surfer.”

Guber is owner and co-executive chairman of the Golden State Warriors, an owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and an owner and executive chairman of Major League Soccer’s Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC). He is chairman of Dick Clark Productions and chairman of Mandalay Sports Media. Guber is a full professor at UCLA and is the author of the #1 New York Times bestseller, “Tell to Win.”

The NAB Show opening will also include the presentation of the NAB Distinguished Service Awardto entertainment icon Jerry Lewis.
