iHeartMedia Revamps WISN Lineup in January 2026

iHeartMedia is changing the weekday sound of NewsTalk 1130 WISN starting Friday, January 2, 2026, with a new lineup built around familiar voices and expanded local coverage.

The biggest shift comes in mornings. Benjamin Yount, who currently hosts WISNs weekday midday show from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., will take over morning drive from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. His midday program has been the top-rated show in its time slot in overall listening in the Milwaukee market, and Yount has been a central figure at WISN since 2018, including a stint as the stations News Director.

Yount said the move to mornings allows him to continue the same approach listeners expect, just earlier in the day, with a continued emphasis on local reporting and discussion.

Filling the now-open midday slot is Jason Goch, who joins WISN as the new 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. weekday host. Goch brings more than 20 years of experience in spoken-word radio, including sports talk and general-interest programming. He is already a familiar presence to WISN audiences, having previously appeared as a guest host.

In addition to hosting middays, Goch will also serve as a newscaster during Younts morning drive, giving the early show a stronger live, local news component.

According to Jerry Bott, WISNs Program Director, the changes are designed to build on the stations recent momentum while strengthening its local bench throughout the day.

The rest of WISNs weekday schedule will remain the same:

11 a.m. 2 p.m. | Clay Travis and Buck Sexton

2 p.m. 3 p.m. | Vicki McKenna

3 p.m. 6 p.m. | Dan ODonnell

The new lineup follows the previously announced departure of longtime morning host Jay Weber from daily mornings. Weber will wrap up his morning show at the end of December and launch a new twice-weekly iHeartPodcast in 2026, while continuing to contribute to WISN and iHeartMedia.

iHeartMedia remains the largest media operator in the Milwaukee market, spanning broadcast radio, live events, data services, and digital platforms including iHeartRadio, its free streaming and podcast service available on hundreds of platforms and thousands of connected devices.
