Michael Martin

Michael Martin has agreed to a new multi-year contract with CBS RADIO, it was announced today. He will continue in his role as Vice President of Programming for San Francisco stations 99.7 NOW (KMVQ-FM), Alice @97.3 (KLLC-FM) and Live 105 (KITS-FM), in addition to serving as Vice President, CHR Programming, a position he has held since February 2012. Martin also is a key architect in the development and execution of CBS RADIO’s national music programming initiatives that feature the biggest names in music, and expose listeners to artists on the rise through a series of on-air, online and in-person events.
“Our music stations in San Francisco have experienced consistent ratings growth under Michael’s leadership,” said Doug Harvill, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS RADIO San Francisco. “As a respected programmer with deep roots in the music community, Michael has been influential in transforming the way radio stations interact with an audience both on a local and national level.

We are pleased to continue this winning partnership.”
Following a career managing the operations/programming for a number of stations in Los Angeles and San Francisco, including serving as Program Director of KYSR-FM, KMEL-FM, KYLD-FM and KIOI-FM, Martin joined CBS RADIO in 2009.
