Kobalt has announced the signing of Los Angeles-based songwriting and production duo The Wavys.
The Wavys, composed of Jack Brady and Jordan Roman, are known for their multi-genre contributions across pop, K-pop, indie-alternative, dance, R&B, and hip-hop. Their catalog has generated more than 4 billion global streams.
Their credits include collaborations with JISOO, IVE, ILLIT, Ambar Lucid, Gus Dapperton, G-Eazy, Shay Lia, NMIXX, FEYI, Breathe Carolina, and ITZY, among other international artists.
The duo recently served as executive producers and co-writers on JISOO�s debut solo EP Amortage, which debuted at #1 on South Korea�s Album Chart and achieved platinum certification. The EP�s lead single, �Earthquake,� written and produced by The Wavys, debuted at #1 on Billboard�s World Digital Song Sales chart, #47 on the Billboard Global 200, and reached the Top 10 in multiple Asian markets, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
The Wavys are represented by managers Michael Mellon and Danielle Engen.
