Skyview Networks is entering a new chapter in its 30-year history with a formal ownership transition that places Steve Jones in full leadership of the company. In a message to employees, shareholders, and industry partners, Jones announced that he has assumed complete ownership and executive control of Skyview Networks, effective immediately, marking a significant milestone in the company’s long-term succession planning.
Jones framed the transition as an evolution rather than a disruption, emphasizing continuity in strategy, culture, and client service. The company’s leadership team will remain in place, and Skyview’s day-to-day operations will continue to focus on client outcomes, operational excellence, and teamwork. The move is intended to strengthen the company’s long-term direction and provide clear, stable leadership as Skyview continues to serve its broadcast and audio partners nationwide.
The announcement also pays tribute to founder Ken Thiele, who established Skyview Networks three decades ago and has been central to its growth and reputation in the industry. Thiele credited the company’s success to the “talent, grit and customer commitment” of its employees and expressed confidence in Jones’s ability to guide Skyview’s trajectory and momentum going forward. Jones, who has spent the past several years expanding the company’s business portfolio and reinforcing its growth and stability, thanked Thiele for his trust and vision throughout the transition.
Jones further acknowledged shareholders Diana Chamberlain and Dave Dickson for their support during the process and noted that both will continue to engage with the company in an advisory capacity. In closing his statement, Jones underscored his commitment to leading with transparency, respect, and a long-term focus on both people and business, describing Skyview Networks as “special” because of the team that has sustained its reputation across the industry.
