…his account was deactivated. The media proprietor joined Instagram on November 2nd and quite naturally, followed his mega superstar wife, Beyonce. She returned the follow- before this, her following count has been 0 since 2012.
However, this isn’t the first time Jay-Z opened an Instagram account. According to Daily News, six years ago, the multi-Grammy award-winning rapper opened an Instagram account under the handle @hovsince96. His first and final post was a tribute to the late Michael Jackson’s birthday.
The account was deactivated a little over 12 hours later. Although he’s absent on the Instauniverse, Jay-Z has had a Twitter account since 2008. With only 269 sporadic tweets, Jay recently added a tweet to add on to his shoutouts on Sunday, October 31, after his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
