iHeartMedia D.C. Names Jaxon BIG 100 Morning Host

iHeartMedia Washington, D.C. today announced that Jaxon has been named Morning Show Host for BIG 100, Washington’s Classic Rock & Home of the Washington Commanders, effective Friday, October 6th, 2023.

iHeartMedia Washington, D.C. has a strong cross-platform presence and includes a number of iconic brands and franchises — both broadcast and digital — encompassing eight stations comprised of music, sports, talk and news formats. 

iHeartMedia has the leading consumer reach and influence across multiple platforms and delivers more live programming than any other media company.

As Morning Show Host, Jaxon will be responsible for hosting “BIG. Rock. Mornings.” Jaxon will report to Dustin Matthews, Director of Rock Programming for iHeartMedia Washington, D.C.

“I’ve been a Jaxon fan for years, so I’m thrilled to welcome him to the iHeartMedia D.C. team!” said Dustin Matthews, Director of Rock Programming. “And as an avid football fan, he’s the perfect match to join forces with the Washington Commanders. Jaxon joins the Washington, D.C. market from Philadelphia, P.A., where he most recently served as the afternoon host on WMMR-FM. He has been in the radio industry for three decades and previously hosted morning shows in Boston, Denver, and Salt Lake City.
