DIAL GLOBAL HIRES AIR TALENT!

Leading radio network strengthens its 24/7 formats with the addition of two high-profile personalities.

Dial Global today announced the hiring of veteran air personalities; Lu Valentino and Jenna McKay.

Ms. Valentino will take over the 7pm-12 midnight show on Dial Global’s Classic Rock format, carried by 80 affiliate stations.     She’s a veteran of heritage rocker KUPD, Phoenix and a proven entertainer on several formats.   Lu has left her mark in Tampa,   Ft. Lauderdale, Buffalo, Orlando and most recently, Mobile.

Lu Valentino commented: “This really is the dream job that I’ve been working toward my whole life.   What a great holiday present!   I can’t wait to entertain this big audience and have every ex?boyfriend in the country track me down”.

Jenna   (aka Verna) McKay will host the 7pm-12 midnight show Dial Global’s Hot AC format, carried by 110 affiliate stations. Ms. McKay says “This is better than the iPad I was hoping to get for Christmas. I’m thrilled  to be with  Dial Global, a growing  company that cares about the product and the people.   I look forward to mixing great music, good conversation  and keeping my family off my back asking for   concert tickets.”

EVP Programming Beau Phillips adds “Jukeboxes are fine for diners.   But great radio stations win with compelling content and strong air personalities.   At Dial Global, we are committed to attracting the best air talent, and we’re thrilled to have Lu & Jenna on our team.”

Both will start on January 3, 2010
