Hip Hop Says Bye to One of Its Pioneers – R.I.P Kool DJ AJ

With one Instagram post, the legendary Kurtis Blow let the world know that Kool dj AJ, a pioneering hip-hop dj died Wednesday September 9th of unknown causes. AJ was instrumental in Kurtis Blow’s career as well as Busy Bee. He worked as a dj since the late 70’s and continued into the 90’s and he officially retired from the game in 2010.
