Live Nation unveiled today a comedy tour too big to be contained by four walls: Funny Or Die Presents The Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival featuring Dave Chappelle, Flight of the Conchords, with Al Madrigal, Brody Steven, Chris D’Elia, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Jim Jefferies, John Mulaney, Kristen Schaal, and many more, will hit U.S. venues beginning on August 23 rd at austin360 Amphitheatre in Austin, Texas, and will culminate with a show in Phoenix, Arizona, at Desert Sky Pavilion on September 22 nd.* The 13 city trek is the largest outdoor comedy tour ever promoted by Live Nation, and is billed as a full festival experience featuring two stages, street performers, vendors, psychics, freaks, tasty treats and more. After getting their start in standup, Bret and Jemaine were launched onto the global stage with their acclaimed HBO comedy series Flight Of The Conchords. The series spanned two seasons and earned them a massive 10 Emmy Nominations and a WGA nomination for Best Comedy series. The duo have also made an impact in the film world.
Bret recently took on the role of Music Supervisor for The Muppets movie and won the Best Original Song Oscar for his composition Man Or Muppet. His partner in crime, Jemaine, was featured in the hit movie Men In Black III.
