Cumulus Media Appoints Popular Shreveport Radio Personality Jay Whatley as On-Air Host, Afternoon Drive, for Q97.3/KQHN-FM
Cumulus Media (NASDAQ: CMLS) announces that it has appointed Shreveport native Jay Whatley as On-Air Host, Afternoons, on Hot AC station Q97.3 (KQHN-FM) in Shreveport. Whatley has been a fixture on Shreveport radio for almost 15 years and joins Q97.3 from KRUF-FM. He is also the emcee for the Shreveport Mudbugs hockey team and has won several “Locals Love Us” awards as best radio personality in Shreveport. Whatley can now be heard on Q97.3 Monday through Friday from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
