CMG Radio today named EJ Greig as WTBV 101.5 FM The Vibe’s first Director of Branding and Programming Radio Personality.

Greig came to CMG as an experienced and veteran radio leader with a reputation for taking stations to the top of their markets.

“EJ is a great leader, a great on-air talent, and a great man,” said Jason Meder, Market Manager for CMG Tampa. “From the start, we knew EJ was the perfect fit for The Vibe. We’re lucky to have him and are thankful he brought his talents to CMG.”

WTBV 101.5 FM The Vibe is Tampa’s only Urban adult contemporary radio station.

“101.5 The Vibe is already a competitive brand to be reckoned with. I can’t wait to contribute to this station’s success and positively impact our listeners and our Tampa community,” Greig said. “I don’t take lightly being the first of something this big. This opportunity has ridiculously blessed me. I aim to use my talent and experience to bless the team and the Tampa Bay audience with the best R&B brand possible.”

WTBV has also added market veteran DJ Ekin to be the liaison to the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and between the station and the community.
