Chesnutt Library Awarded COVID-19 Response Grant

Charles
W. Chesnutt Library has been awarded a COVID-19 Response Mini-Grant of
$1,500.00 from the State Library of North Carolina. The funds will be used by
Chesnutt Library staff to purchase protective supplies to reduce the impact of
COVID-19. The Lead Principal Investigator of the grant is Nicholle Young,
University Library Technician for Archives & Special Collections. Jinong
Sun, the Interim Library Director, is the Project Manager of the grant.

This
grant is made possible by funding from the federal Institute of Museum and
Library Services (IMLS) under the provisions of the Library Services and
Technology Act (LSTA) as administered by the State Library of North Carolina, a
division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (IMLS grant number
LS-00-19-0034-19).
