Harlem’s historic Apollo Theater is about to increase its presence across TV, film, podcasts, publishing and event platforms after signing for representation in all areas with UTA, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The cross-platform deal will see the historic gathering place for New York City’s African-American community seek to amplify its longstanding cultural influence. “I look forward to working with UTA to amplify the Apollo’s influence and the artists we champion, while introducing the non-profit theater’s mission and programming to an even broader audience,” Apollo Theater president and CEO Jonelle Procope said in a statement.
