Renowned trombonist and jazz vocalist Aubrey Logan is set to enrich Loyola�s 56th Annual Jazz Festival with her performances and insightful workshops. Scheduled for March 7, Logan will also lead interactive sessions on March 6 and 7, offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage with her musical expertise and industry knowledge.
Logan�s workshops, which are free and open to the public, will feature her playing the trombone and addressing questions from participants. Drawing from her own experiences, Logan recalls attending similar festivals in her youth, understanding the curiosity and concerns students may have. She emphasizes that her role as an artist educator differs from that of traditional band teachers, as she aims to provide answers to broader industry-related questions that students may not typically encounter in their daily music education.
