Since 2020, global streams of Australian artists have surged by 69%, indicating a transformative shift in how local music engages with international audiences.
Sia has emerged as a leading figure in this evolution, becoming the first artist to top the Global Impact List twice. Her collaboration with David Guetta, “Beautiful People,” has been recognized as the most-streamed Australian song internationally for 2025. Tame Impala also made a strong showing, with seven tracks from their album “Deadbeat” featuring in the Top 50, including the second-highest entry, “Dracula.” Meanwhile, The Kid LAROI continues to demonstrate global traction, placing seven tracks on the list.
The list also highlights the rise of emerging artists, such as Lithe, who debuted at number four with Don Toliver on “Cannonball,” and kiki wera, whose track “Pool (Gravagerz Version)” reached the Top 10.
