Beyonce Dumps Destiny’s Child For Super Bowl

destinyschild

Known of late for last minute changes of heart, singer/actress Beyonce has reportedly decided against a previously announced reunion of Destiny’s Child during next month’s Super Bowl half time performance slot.

On February 3rd out of New Orleans, Beyonce was to perform with group mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Details about the set list were leaked and gave mention to “Crazy In Love” as an opener, leading into a Destiny’s Child medley marked by “Bills, Bills, Bills”, “Survivor”, and their latest release “Nuclear”.

Beyonce Knowles rose to fame in the late 1990s as the lead singer of Destiny’s Child. She has earned 16 Grammy Awards to date.

Speculation is that “Nuclear” has not performed as anticipated, therefore leading to the decision to nix the reunion plans during the highly coveted performance slot. Knowles recently made headlines for her last minute decision to sing alongside a recorded track during the national anthem at President Barack Obama’s most recent Inauguration ceremony, according to a representative of the Marine Corps.
