A$ap Rocky and Rihanna Mark Vibe’s Print Return in New York

VIBE’s return to print is the kind of moment that gets the full music-business ecosystem talking, because a major magazine relaunch still carries weight with artists, publishers, and the people who shape culture. A$AP Rocky and Rihanna turned that occasion into a visible celebration at New York City’s Iconic Magazines, where they checked out the Summer 2026 issue and helped spotlight the title’s comeback.

Rocky turns the magazine stop into a live promo moment

Rocky and Rihanna visited Iconic Magazines after VIBE came back in print for the first time in over a decade, and the outing also coincided with the New York Knicks’ Game 4 finals win. Inside the retailer, Rocky signed copies before heading outside to take photos, sign the window display, and speak with Maurice Kamara of The People Gallery about his outfit.

He also talked about how it feels to appear on the cover, saying he is “just happy to be here” and calling the moment a blessing after being in the business for 15, 16 years. Rocky also tied the visit to the Knicks, telling them, “I’m your good luck charm,” while joking about New York fans and the finals.

Rihanna puts the cover back in focus

Rihanna also broke down her outfit for Kamara before shifting the conversation to the issue itself. She referred to Rocky as her “baby daddy” and said, “My baby daddy brought VIBE back. The VIBE has been lost, VIBE has been brought back.” After opening the center spread, she added, “I’m fuckin’ a New York Yankee.”

Rocky’s tour and VIBE’s limited edition push keep the momentum going

The appearance comes as Rocky continues his international Don’t Be Dumb Tour. He also performed at the 2026 Gov Ball last week, where 200 fans received a free copy of VIBE’s limited-edition issue with merch purchases.

VIBE says readers can also check out Rocky’s Summer 2026 cover story, where he discusses fatherhood, fashion, and evolving as a man and artist. What to watch next: how VIBE continues rolling out its print comeback alongside Rocky’s tour and the ongoing attention around the Summer 2026 issue.
