A luxury auto dealer in Miami has reported the theft of a $420,000 Rolls-Royce. The vehicle was stolen by a sophisticated thief during its transportation from Michigan to Florida.

The Theft Incident

The Rolls-Royce, purchased in Michigan, was scheduled to arrive at Limited Spec Automotive in Miami on a Saturday afternoon. The theft occurred when the driver transporting the car received a fraudulent text message from someone posing as an employee of the dealership, instructing the driver to deliver the vehicle to a different location.

Discovery of the Theft

The dealership became suspicious when the car did not arrive as scheduled. At around 4 p.m., the general manager contacted the driver, who mistakenly believed the car had been delivered as instructed by the fraudulent message. This raised alarms at the dealership, prompting further investigation.

Thief�s Admission and Actions

The thief sent photos to the dealership, admitting to having removed the vehicle�s tracker, making it difficult to locate the stolen Rolls-Royce.

Reward Offered

In an effort to recover the stolen vehicle, Limited Spec Automotive is offering a $40,000 reward for information leading to the car’s return.
