Philadelphia, PA. – DJ Touchtone, the World’s Number 1 Blind DJ will be giving back to the community this holiday season. The radio personality wants to help lower income families by putting a turkey on their dinner table this holiday season. Alex the Jeweler of Gold Fever has jumped on board to help Touchtone in his efforts; Alex will match DJ Touchtone turkey for turkey in his contribution to the community.
During this time of hardships and recession, families are facing tougher challenges each day and need whatever assistance available to them. To help brighten the spirits of others this holiday season DJ Touchtone says ” A hot meal, family, and some mistletoe make the season right; I have been blessed and want to do all that is in my power to pass the blessing along”.
On Monday, December 22, 2008 DJ Touchtone will personally hand deliver turkeys to three families in the Philadelphia area. The culmination of the day will be held at 23rd & Jefferson where Touchtone and 100.3 the Beat will give out fifty turkeys to the residents of the Hemburger Housing Projects.
