2. Jodeci
Jodeci – That’s right the bad boys of R&B are holding down the number 2 spot. You can say what you want about Jodeci but in the ’90s these four gentlemen from North Carolina had the game on lock. K-Ci, Jo-Jo, Dalvin, and DeVante were a force to reckoned with. “Forever My Lady,” “Stay,” “Come and Talk to Me” and “Cry For You” had the ladies going crazy and men dressing in Chicago White Sox hats and Doc Martin boots. The Jodeci “stomp” became the classic “I‘m to cool” R&B dance. People are still “Feenin” for a Jodeci reunion. I will share a little secret with you, I have had the opportunity to hear some of the songs that were going to appear on their last album and yes they still had it.
First… New Edition is from the 80s. Second, no Shai?! Outsold all but Boyz II Men. Yes, that includes Jodeci. FOH.
Where is Jagged Edge
Jodeci should be #1
Silk was 10x better people just didn’t listen to them, to be honest the 90’s is probably the second or third era of music to judge.
This list made me cringe. 112? BBD higher than SILK? Silk top 3 based on Loose Control. They are so underated
