Tom Joyner , host of the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show (TJMS) , along with Allstate Insurance Company, is celebrating family fun with the 2014 Allstate Tom Joyner Family Reunion®. This Labor Day weekend, August 28th – September 1st, families from all over the country will join Joyner and his celebrity friends for a weekend filled with stellar concerts, passes to Walt Disney World, interaction with celebrities, enlightening seminars, and endless activities for people of all ages inside the free expo that is open to the public. The event will be held at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, and will feature concerts from The Jacksons, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Tank and more.
There will also be a Gospel Explosion all day Sunday with Yolanda Adams and James Fortune, and appearances throughout the weekend by Michael Baisden, Don Lemon, Kandi Burruss, Syleena Johnson and Porsha Willliams. Title sponsor Allstate is shining a spotlight on the heartwarming stories of good, giving back to the community, unexpected good deeds, and unsung local heroes taking place every day with its second annual Give It Up For Good campaign. Family reunion attendees will be invited to share their stories of good via social media using the hashtag #GiveItUpForGood, in addition to following their @GiveItUpForGood Twitter handle.
In addition, Allstate’s annual Quotes For Education program, which was established in 2009 as a way to provide financial support for students of Historically Black Colleges And Universities (HBCUs), will be active on site at the reunion where attendees will be informed of how they can help and be involved in giving back to their fellow HBCUs.
