Throwback Hip-Hop Radio StationMakes Debut in Detroit

Greater Media has officially unveiled the All New 105.1 The Bounce… Detroit’s Throwback Hip-Hop and R&B! 105.1 The Bounce features throwback hip-hop music and R&B songs from the 90’s and 2000’s, including artists that span from 2Pac and Ice Cube to Drake and Rihanna. The Radio Station officially kicked off the new format Friday at noon by unveiling the first of 10,000 songs in a row.

The new on-air line-up will be announced in the near future.”Greater Media is thrilled to unveil this fun and unique new format in the Motor City,” said Vice President and Market Manager Steve Chessare. “We look forward to providing a fun, fresh new sound featuring some of the best throwback hip-hop music and R&B sounds over the past for our listeners to enjoy!”We’re thrilled that our great Detroit cluster is adding a new brand for our audience and our customers,” said Greater Media Senior Vice President of Program Development Buzz Knight.
