Scandal has now found its way to Sesame Street.  Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo on “Sesame Street,” is taking a leave of absence from the show after being accused of  that he had sex with an underage boy, the website TMZ is reporting. Mr.  Clash has denied the the allegations.  The 23-year-old accuser says the two began a sexual relationship seven years ago, when he was 16 and Clash, 45. Clash has acknowledged he had a relationship with the young man but insisted it didn’t begin until after he had become a consenting adult.”I had a relationship” with the accuser, TMZ reported Clash as saying. “It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not.” The charges are currently being investigated by Sesame Street’s lawyers.
