Voice of Elmo Accused of Underage Sex Charge


 width=Scandal has now found its way to Sesame Street. �Kevin Clash, the voice of Elmo on “Sesame Street,” is taking a leave of absence from the show after being accused of �that he had sex with an underage boy, the website TMZ is reporting. Mr. �Clash has denied the the allegations. �The 23-year-old accuser says the two began a sexual relationship seven years ago, when he was 16 and Clash, 45. Clash has acknowledged he had a relationship with the young man but insisted it didn’t begin until after he had become a consenting adult.”I had a relationship” with the accuser, TMZ reported Clash as saying. “It was between two consenting adults and I am deeply saddened that he is trying to make it into something it was not.” The charges are currently being investigated by Sesame Street’s lawyers.
