Soft White Underbelly is a great show on Youtube that spotlights the burgeoning and often invisible yet every present homeless population in Los Angeles and tells their stories. Amanda a frequent guest has died at the age of 25. She was a prostitute on the streets of Los Angeles that was so severaly raped and beaten on many occasions that her jaw was permanantly dislocated.
Before all of this happened, she lived with her father because he mother was on drugs but her father, she said, ended up being a molester. With no other family she ended up homeless and a consistent punching bag of the streets in downtown LA. Underneath all that tragedy she had a sweet spirit and a positive attitude that made her likeable.
