….more hires soon to be announcedSyndication One announced today that it has appointed radio executive Tanita Myers to Director of Operations effective immediately. Myers will oversee operations of the Yoland a Adams Morning Show, the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, CoCo Brother Live, the “Spirit”, TD Jakes “Empowering Moments,” as well as the Reverend Al Sharpton and Warren Ballentine talk programs. For the past six years, Myers served as the Director of Radio Operations for REACH Media, Inc., working directly with the Tom Joyner Morning Show (TJMS) .”I’m extremely excited to rejoin the Syndication One Family,” states Myers. “It will be a privilege to work with a roster filled with talented hosts, producers and executives.
I look forward to putting my ” Tom Joyner University “ degree to great use!” With over 17 years of combined syndicated and local broadcast experience, Myers brings a wealth of industry knowledge to her new position. In fact, Myers was instrumental in the launch of Syndication One and worked to shape much of the original programming. “We had so many talented cand idates for the post, but it became obvious that Tanita had the skills, drive, passion, and experience to hand le the critical Director of Operations position for what is now one of the fastest growing syndication companies in America,” says Gary Bernstein, President of Programming for Syndication One. Tanita, is also a former Executive Producer of the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, which has recently experienced unprecedented ratings successes in many major markets including Rickey Smiley’s recent number one PPM ratings success in Miami on WEDR (Arbitron PPM July 18-34 AQH Share ).
Other past radio credits included stints with Kidd Kraddick in the Morning and Premiere Radio Networks. Myers will be located in Syndication One’s Dallas office. Syndication One also has plans to announce an Executive-Director of Multi-Media Marketing in the near future.
The position will further support the explosive growth in the company’s affiliate base by creating signature events for the various brand s.
