Sevyn’s upcoming album will be released in October, with details forthcoming. Her debut album Girl Disrupted was released in 2017, and garnered raves. Rolling Stone wrote, “The album shows the extent of Streeter’s reach in R&B and hip-hop, a byproduct of goodwill built up from nearly a decade of writing and singing sessions.” LA Times also praised the album, writing, “‘Girl Disrupted’ updates the sweet era of ’90s R&B when strong female voices such as TLC, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, SWV, and Brandy balanced lush, soulful harmonies with swaggering, hip-hop-dipped edge.”

Sevyn is also a prolific songwriter, most notably for writing for Ariana Grande (“The Way”) and Chris Brown (“Yeah 3x,” “Next to You,” “Strip,” “Fine China”) as well as for Brandy, Kelly Rowland, Fantasia, Tamar Braxton and many more.
