Every now and then, you come across a young Radio DJ that you KNOW is destined for great things, and Shay is one of those rare Radio DJs. This girl is going to be a big star. She is already on the right track by promoting herself and utilizing major celebrities to help build her brand.
Celebrities are always immediately attracted to talent AND great looks in radio. I was impressed with this video and several others of her online, and I rarely see radio videos that get my attention. Instead of her screaming into the camera and letting us know how connected SHE is to celebrities, The CELEBRITIES let us know how connected THEY are to her!
Brilliant marketing, Shay thinks like a successful entrepreneur. She’s only been at the station for a month as the morning show co-host and she has already been promoted to MD recently. She’s got the talent and the charisma to go far in the industry and beyond and she reminds me of LaLa Vazquez when she worked at The Beat here in Los Angeles in the early 90s.
Congrats Shay on the promotion and for thinking outside the box. Pay attention, radio!
