Peermusic Names Vincent Morgan Director of A&R, Pop/Urban

Peermusic, the world’s largest independent music publisher, is pleased to announce that Vincent “Tuff” Morgan has been named Director of A&R, Pop/Urban. The announcement was made by Kathy Spanberger, peermusic President and Chief Operating Officer. Morgan will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office and will oversee joint ventures and acts across the peermusic repertoire including Salaam Remi, 1500 or Nothin, Family of the Year and up-and-coming R&B singer, Teeflii.

Said Spanberger, “Tuff Morgan’s unparalleled strengths in the Pop/Urban arena are a perfect fit for peermusic as the company expands its role and growth in these areas. We look forward to a long and productive working relationship with Tuff.”

A powerhouse Urban/Pop music industry insider and professional with over 15 years of major record label and music publishing experience, Tuff Morgan wears many hats including that of artist, producer, manager, writer and music supervisor, and he has worked with a vast array of artists including KRS-1, Dr. Dre, Brandy, Busta Rhymes and Rhianna. While writing, producing and developing acts, Morgan started A&R consulting for music executives such as Jheryl Busby (Motown/umbrella records), Brian Turner (Priority Records) and also secured an imprint deal with Kanye West’s G.O.O.D Music label. He was also an A&R consultant to peermusic prior to this appointment.
