DJ Scooby Gets Street Named After Him

curtis scooby seniorRadio DJ Curtis “Scooby” Senior died suddenly almost a year ago from an immune disorder. He hosted a radi oshow on 101.1 the Beat in Nashville. He was one half of the Dolewite and Scooby show. City council member Erica Gilmore got an ordinance passed to name a portion of 14th Ave as Curtis Senior Lane. “He touched so many people. Especially so many people that probably ride on Jefferson Street quite a bit can look over and say you know you remember him evey time you ride by 14th and Jefferson. That means everything,” said James “Dolewite” Raymer, Scooby’s Friend and Co-Host.

The public is invited to that dedication Saturday at 2pm.
