Hip-hop legend DJ KOOL HERC’s friends are urging fans to help with funds to help the ailing star pay for surgery. The Jamaican-born rap pioneer has an undisclosed illness and needs surgery but has no health insurance to pay for the procedure.DJ Tony Touch writes, “I just spoke to Kool Herc.
