BMI held a private get-together on Thursday, January 29 to celebrate the music creators in its community who earned 2026 GRAMMY nominations.
It was a broad mix of songwriters, composers, producers, and more, with nominees represented across a long list of categories—Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical), Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Gospel Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Music Film, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album, Best Rock Album, and Best Rock Performance, among others.
The room brought together a wide range of artists and collaborators, including Linkin Park (Mike Shinoda and Brad Delson), Audrey Nuna, Philip Lawrence, INK, Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo, MTech, Laura Veltz, ARKAI (Jonathan Miron and Philip Sheegog), Rogét Chahayed, Dave Koz, Joanie Leeds, roselilah, Aura V, Fyütch, Nevrmind, Rhea Raj, and more.
To wrap up the brunch, BMI EVP and Chief Revenue & Creative Officer Mike Steinberg raised a toast to BMI’s creator community and wished everyone good luck at the GRAMMY Awards on February 1.
