When Liquor and Inteviews with Controversial Figures Don’t Mix. With George Floyd’s family threatening to sue and a huge controversy surrounding Kanye West’s recent appearance on Drink Champs, host N.O.R.E vehemently apologizes for Kanye’s hate speech and comments about George Floyd admitting that he regrets the way things happened. Kanye stated George was not killed by the white police officer, Derek Chauvin, but by Fentanyl, which prompted the threat from Floyd’s family to sue and has gone viral.

The theme of ‘Drink Champs’ is to have guests come on the show and drink alcohol and be more open in their interviews. N.O.R.E. states he was being a journalist by not having an opinion about what Kanye was saying but he later states in the video that he wishes he had not been drinking that morning so that he could have had a better handle on the interview. N.O.R.E says that he has felt as if he has been blackballed and censored in the past and he wanted to give Kanye the opportunity to speak after Ye walked into the studio and stated if they stopped taping he would walk out.

N.O.R.E. also mentioned with obvious, noticeable, and repeated angst that Steve Rifkin was in the studio and was privy to the anti-semitic comments while the show was being taped. N.O.R.E states that he regrets doing the interview. The interview has been removed from the network that runs it, Sean Diddy Combs, REVOLT TV.
