Dave Chappelle Attacked on Stage, Man Pulls Gun (video)

It looks like comedians are ready to deal with on-stage attacks after the Chris Rock and Will Smith situation. Dave Chappelle’s Hollywood Bowl performance Tuesday night came to a grinding halt when a man jumped on the stage and attacked the comedian and pulled a gun, he also had a knife. Dave’s security was on point and the man was handled quickly.

The police state the man actually pointed the gun at Chappelle as he ran toward him. The attacker was severely beaten and had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance after being stomped. He was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

Chappelle went on with the show even making jokes about it. Chris Rock was in attendance as well.
