Radio One AC Majic 107.5/97.5/Atlanta has just made a brilliant move by incorporating vet Radio DJ, Carol Blackmon, to middays. I’ve been in the industry for over 20 years and Carol is still, to date, the BEST female Radio DJ I have EVER heard in the industry. In addition she is from my hometown, Buffalo.
She replaces the shift was previously filled by Warren Ballentine and Al Sharpton. “Anchored by ‘The Steve Harvey Morning Show’ and Michael Baisden in the afternoons, Carol is perfect complement during the day, playing the ’80s, ’90s and best of today’s R&B,” says Radio One/Atlanta VP/GM Tim Davies. Carol has worked for several Radio Stations including her longest stint at Atlanta’s WVEE, WBLK in Buffalo and more.
